Clients & Projects

Since 2011 Trampoline has delivered a succession of powerful, user-friendly platforms.

Startup Hubs Europe

Trampoline was appointed by the European Commission to undertake the most detailed ever analysis of employment, turnover and investment data from clusters across Europe. The first phase covering 10 clusters was launched in September 2015 by Andrus Ansip, Vice President of the European Commission. The second phase will launch in early 2017. Trampoline's partner on the project is Grant Thornton.

Med City Map

Trampoline was engaged by the Greater London Authority to develop a comprehensive analysis of the vibrant life sciences cluster in South East England; which incorporates London, Cambridge and Oxford. The platform was launched in 2015 by Boris Johnson in his capacity as Mayor of London.

Cambridge Cluster Map

in 2012 Trampoline was commissioned by the University of Cambridge, ARM semiconductors and Marshall Aerospace to create the world's first analysis of a business community including comprehensive employment and turnover data. The original version was launched by Cambridge-based investor Sherry Coutu. In 2016 a completely new version was launched in partnership with Cambridge Ahead and the Centre for Business Research at Judge Business School.

Tech Map London

Following the success of 2011's Tech City Map, the Greater London Authority commissioned Trampoline to develop a successor. In partnership with consultancy SQW Trampoline compiled a dataset of Greater London's entire science and technology ecosystem. Tech Map London was launched by Boris Johnson and Michael Bloomberg in 2015 providing unprecedented insight into a city's tech economy.

UK Private Equity Map

The British Venture Capital Association represents the UK's venture capital and private equity industry. In 2013 they engaged Trampoline to link a dataset of their members' investments with comprehensive employment and turnover data. The resulting UK Private Equity Map was launched at Parliament and highlights the value contributed to the UK economy by the private equity industry. An upgraded platform was launched in 2016 running on Trampoline's newest technology.

Tech City Map

This is the project where it all started. To support the UK Government's "Tech City" initiative establishing an innovation cluster in the Shoreditch district of London, Trampoline developed the world's first data-driven analysis of a business community. The project was supported by Thomson Reuters, LinkedIn, Cisco, Atos and Mother. It was launched by UK Prime Minister David Cameron at The Trampery in 2011 to mark the first year of Tech City. The project attracted worldwide attention with media coverage in more than 20 countries.
